SCOTT DEPOT, WV --- More than sixty years ago a fine tradition of innovative design and quality craftsmanship was begun by Rollo Purrington. Purrington Looms, LLC is today continuing the tradition and is reintroducing the innovative line of folding floor and table looms to sixteen harnesses.

In the manner of Rollo Purrington, the looms are quality crafted in a modern production facility in the hills of West Virginia, a state historically associated with fine handcrafts. Looms and accessories are produced by craftsmen skilled in spinning and weaving in addition to heirloom furniture quality workmanship. Purrington Looms are made of furniture grade hard maple, with other hardwoods available on a custom basis. Continuing to follow Rollo Purrington’s lead, we can further customize looms at the request of the weaver. The Purrington table looms are available in 8, 12, and 16 shafts up to 18 inches wide. An 8 shaft, 10 inch model is also available. All models have built-in carrying handles. All table looms can be fitted with optional second warp beam, accessory shelves, and integral folding legs that allow comfortable use with a standard chair.

The folding floor looms are built with 4 shafts in 20, 26, and 32 inch widths. They fold to a compact 13 inches deep and can be folded with a warp in place.

A complete line of accessories, including the Peggy Osterkemp designed Doubling Stand and Tension Box, the Germaine design of Angel Wings, adjustable weaving benches, warping boards, and spool racks is available.
